The suite consists of 3 movements. The first movement features a march-like character. The second movement, slow-paced, is expressive and serene. A carefree and light movement joyfully concludes the composition.
Description
Commissioned by Mr. Jurgen Briffa for the 150th anniversary of the King's Own Philharmonic (Malta), the suite is divided into three distinct contrasting movements: the first movement has a march-like character and is meant as a tribute to the celebration of the 150 years of "The King's Own Philharmonic." The second movement, with a slow pace, is expressive and serene. A carefree and light movement joyfully concludes the composition.
