ONDA DE ESPERANÇA

The work ONDA DE ESPERANÇA (Wave of Hope) was written at the request of PwC Portugal, in the context of the Excellence Mare Awards, with the purpose of recognising the merit of all people and entities that contribute to the sustainable valorization of sea resources. The composer was inspired by the sea that surrounds him and the Azores islands (in which he lives) and composed this work reliving the emotions you feel when you are at the ocean center. The compositions is divided in 7 parts, which explore these emotions: "The sea", "The sea dance", "Reflection", "The force and power of the sea", "Hope", "The calling of Men for adventure" and "Let's ride this wave". Wave of Hope is a tribute to the sea!
